Based on gas atmosphere furnace technologies developed over many years as well as strict quality controls, we provide JIS certified plants for steel quenching and tempering and carburizing,quenching and tempering, and receive authorized factory designations from companies such as auto manufacturers and construction machinery companies. In the latest plant we are working on, we have attracted industry attention by developing factory automation for plant management, for example, enabling computer-based fully automatic operation for each furnace operation. For parts and dies of which usage conditions are becoming more severe by the year, we are actively advancing the practicalization of special surface processing (TD process, LS process, sursurf process, etc.) that significantly improves life span, as well as innovative metal surface processing (shot peening, etc.) that enables downsizing and lightening of parts by significantly improving material strength, and helps to resolve problems for users.

Gas soft nitriding

The low-temperature gas soft nitriding method, which we have developed independently, is a nitriding treatment that results in low distortion and less pollution. In the same way as the carburizing treatment, we offer services at domestic and overseas production bases.

Hardernite treatment (Atmosphere control nitriding)

This treatment provides a new nitriding treatment technology featuring both the high strength of the carburizing treatment, and the low distortion of the gas soft nitriding treatment. By implementing highly accurate atmosphere control, it became possible to control the morphology of the iron nitride compound layer. This treatment is especially effective at creating pitting resistance and bending fatigue strength.

Plasma nitriding

This treatment generates a glow discharge in a nitrogen/hydrogen lean mixed gas atmosphere of several hundred pascals, and uses an ion impact process that occurs at that time to heat target products and advance nitriding simultaneously. Different from the previous nitriding method, this treatment has been adopted for a wide range of components ranging from automotive parts to machine and precision parts.

DMT process

This process is a gas-base nitriding treatment that provides nitrocarburizing without using cyan salt in contrast with high alloy steel such as stainless steel or heat resistant steel. Unlike the salt bath method, this treatment does not require waste water or waste salt treatment.

Gas nitriding

This nitriding treatment adds heat to the ammonia flow and allows nitrogen to infiltrate from the surface of steel. The nitrogen that has infiltrated from the surface while diffusing is combined with the metallic element of materials to form nitride and harden the surface of the base material.

Sursurf process

This process is a low sulfur system nitriding treatment based on the salt bath method that was developed by the hydro mechanic wear laboratory (H.E.F) in France. This treatment generates a compound layer that has mainly sulfides and nitrides on the surface of the base material, and forms a nitrogen diffusion layer.

LS process

This is a sulfurization treatment process, which was developed by the hydro mechanic wear laboratory (H.E.F) in France, to generate a sulfurized layer via an electrolytic reaction. Seizure resistance and abrasion resistance are improved without compromising the dimensional accuracy and mechanical characteristics because the treatment temperature is low, 190°C.

DRS process

This sulfurization treatment process immerses and holds treated products in cold solutions of alkali metal salts containing sulfur, and generates an iron sulfide layer of several μm on the surface of treated products via an electrochemical reaction using the treated products as the anode (+). Iron sulfide has characteristics such as self-lubricity and the ability to retain oil, and can suppress seizing and abnormal wear of iron-based sliding parts.

TD process

This process is used to form a layer of carbide (VC: vanadium carbide) on the material surface by immersing and holding materials such as steel and cemented carbide in the molten salt bath that is kept at a high temperature. This process has been widely adopted by the thick press processing field that requires high surface pressure.

Cr-Dope-N

This is a chrome and nitrogen coating treatment that uses sputtering technology. This treatment in particular has excellent releasability, which extends the life of the resin die and powder molding die. Furthermore, this is a low-temperature treatment that generates almost no distortions or dimensional changes in the base material. This is a pollutionless treatment that does not create any hazardous substances.

Ion plating

This is a coating treatment that generates an extremely hard film on the surface to extend the life of cutting tools and dies. Using the vacuum arc discharge, this treatment vaporizes and ionizes metallic materials (titanium, titanium aluminum, chromium, etc.) attached to the cathode, and causes those metallic materials to react with various gases to generate a dense film on the surface of the treated product.

Aluminum alloy heat treatment

Aluminum alloy is divided into two types depending on components: material that is hardened by heat treatment processing, and material that is hardened only by working the plastic. We submit T6, T5, T4, and T2 treatments depending on materials to acquire the target mechanical strength, and provide appropriate services.

SBM (LS process + MoS2 coating)

Based on the LS process, this treatment coats target parts with molybdenum disulfide, a solid lubricant. This treatment reduces the friction coefficient in the initial sliding phase in which no lubrication is used, or there is a small flow of lubricating oil in addition to the seizure resistance of the LS process, and contributes to wear resistance and creates a locking effect with the constant tightening torque value.
